Job description
A wonderful family in New York, USA is looking to hire a Companion/Carer to support their 80-year-old father. The man has dementia.
The right companion/carer must have a lot of patience and experience working in a similar environment. The role will require assisting him and help him with all his personal needs.
This is a full-time and permanent position to start as soon as possible. The accommodation will be provided.

Responsibilities
- Be available to assist the client at all times
- Administration of medications and treatments in accordance with the medical plan
- Keeping company to the patient
- Cook simple and healthy meals
- Providing or assisting patient in self-care
- Liaise with doctors
- Accompany him for her appointments
- Maintain optimum health and well-being of the patient
- Report family
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position
- Trustworthy and discreet
- Flexible person
- Driving license
- Experience working with dementia and Alzheimer people
Work conditions
- Working hours: 6 days per week
