Description of the home care assistant profession
A home care assistant is a professionally trained state-certified individual who provides assistance to elderly, weakened, vulnerable, dependent individuals, or those experiencing temporary difficulties after hospitalization or due to an illness.
The state-certified diploma is the DEAES (diploma in educational and social support), which is the primary qualification in the home care profession that enables the provision of support and compensation for the consequences of a disability, regardless of its origin or nature.
